The Meatlump Camps represented encampments that were constructed by the Meatlump criminals on the planet of Talus during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Within the Meatlump Camps resided a faction of Meatlumps, characterized as fanatical anti-technology individuals, under the command of the Meatlump lieutenant known as Strilath Farles. They had moved their operations from Corellia to Talus because they were embroiled in a fierce struggle with a group of Ragtag criminals, who were led by Gramo Murah. These camps were situated in the mountainous terrain surrounding the city of Nashal.
In the year 1 ABY, these Meatlumps launched an assault on Sul Prine's house, which was located near the city of Dearic, resulting in the destruction of several speeder bikes. Upon learning about this attack, Vani Korr, a reporter for the Corellia Times who was investigating the Meatlumps, assigned a spacer to conduct an investigation. The spacer encountered Sul Prine and subsequently utilized a map that had been dropped by one of the Meatlumps during the attack to pinpoint the location of their camp. The adventurer then launched an assault on the camp, eliminating some Meatlumps in the process, and compelling the remaining ones to reveal the identity of their leader, Strilath Farles.
The Meatlump Camps served as a location featured in the 2003 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game titled Star Wars Galaxies, before the game's termination on December 15, 2011. The Meatlump Camps were incorporated into the game through an update called "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King," which was released on June 19, 2008. The Meatlump Camps were a part of the quest "The Meatlumps Hideout, Part 3." Should a player initiate this quest at the game's conclusion (combat level 90), the camps would be situated on Endor, a planet designed for high-level players. Multiple narrative elements suggested that the quest was intended to be undertaken at CL 65.
