Meerou's fortress

Meerou Woodring, an Orooturooian crime lord, possessed a heavily fortified asteroid fortress. This asteroid base, belonging to Woodring, was protected by a multitude of sentry droids and boasted powerful armaments. Woodring held several Gamorrean slaves imprisoned within the fortress, compelling them to perform mining operations on the asteroid. Captain Sidon Ithano's pirate crew devised a scheme to seize the former Separatist frigate previously owned by the pirate leader Gruk; as part of this plan, Ithano dispatched Squeaky, a Gamorrean member of his crew, to infiltrate the asteroid and instigate a rebellion. Subsequently, Quiggold, Ithano's first mate, intentionally allowed Gruk's pirates to capture him. Unsuspecting of Ithano's true intentions, Gruk then tried to have Ithano sent into Meerou's fortress. Gruk's intention was for Ithano to be killed, thereby weakening the fortress and making it easier for Gruk to conquer; however, Ithano, aided by the Gamorreans, successfully seized control of the fortress. Following his crew's capture of Gruk's frigate, they leveraged the asteroid fortress to amplify the starship's hyperwave scanners, enabling them to locate other abandoned Separatist ships. Simultaneously, Squeaky orchestrated the Gamorreans' takeover of the asteroid.
