The miid ro'ik warship functioned as a capital-class bio-engineered vessel utilized by the Yuuzhan Vong, serving a role analogous to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer.

A distinctive trait of this warship was its capability to recycle other Yuuzhan Vong spacecraft. When a coralskipper, Kor Chokk, or even a worldship neared the end of its lifespan, its organic components were utilized as sustenance for the miid ro'ik. This decaying matter was processed into fuel for the warship's yaret-kors alongside other onboard systems. A portion of this material was also converted into a thick, flowing substance that covered the vehicle's exterior, solidifying into resilient, dark-colored armored plating capable of withstanding blaster impacts and collisions. The remaining portions of the ship were constructed from durable yorik coral, and the vessel featured several elongated coral appendages extending from its sides. These red and blue appendages would connect to coralskippers, facilitating the transportation of these starfighters through space.
Although the complement of coralskippers on board could provide defensive fire during engagements, the primary offensive capabilities of the miid ro'ik were derived from its sixty yaret-kors, which were distributed across the hull, often concealed within the deep crevices of the yorik coral.

Furthermore, the warship's numerous dovin basals—which targeted gravitational fields to propel the vessel—could be employed to draw enemy vessels closer to the deadly magma cannons, mirroring the New Republic's use of tractor beams. Dovin basals generated gravitic distortions that protected the miid ro'ik from incoming projectiles and provided the vessel with superior speed compared to other Yuuzhan Vong starships.
The most frightening aspect of the miid ro'ik was the Qworlth skaal, a massive and repulsive creature concealed within the warship's interior. This organism would extend from the vessel to devour enemy starfighters or personnel.
This Yuuzhan Vong warship typically carried around 3,000 warriors in addition to diverse bio-engineered vehicles.
Miid ro'ik warships, generally known as Yuuzhan Vong warships, were utilized by the invading forces as command centers, blockade units, and assault vessels.
Miid ro'ik warships played a role in establishing a secure boundary during space battles. To prevent enemy vessels from escaping, the warship's dovin basals generated a consolidated gravity well, thus preventing escapes through hyperspace.
The miid ro'ik's designation appears with a typographical error as "miit ro'ik" in Karen Traviss's short novel, Boba Fett: A Practical Man.
