In the year 132 BBY, Sol, a Jedi Master, embarked on a quest to the world of Carlac. Accompanying him were his Padawan, Jecki Lon, and Jedi Knight Yord Fandar. Their objective was to locate Osha Aniseya, Sol's previous Padawan. Aniseya was suspected of committing Indara's murder, a Jedi Master. She had been aboard the prison ship named Palwick when it crash-landed on Carlac due to a prisoner mutiny. The Jedi followed Aniseya's trail from the wreckage. After Sol rescued Osha from a precipice, she disclosed that her twin sibling, Mae Aniseya, was not only alive but also responsible for Indara's death. Subsequently, Osha consented to accompany the Jedi.
