The stronghold of Shenda Mol was a base of operations on the planet Numidian Prime in the Mid Rim, controlled by the Falleen bounty hunter Shenda Mol. Around the year 66 BBY, a Jedi strike team journeyed to this world with the intention of capturing Mol. Jedi Master Dooku and his Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn were assigned to pursue her directly to her secret base. Upon Jinn's arrival near the hideout, Mol briefly aimed a blaster at him before Dooku's arrival. Dooku then used Force lightning to injure the bounty hunter, allowing the Jedi pair to apprehend her.
The Falleen bounty hunter Shenda Mol established Mol's hideout as a stronghold located on the Mid Rim planet known as Numidian Prime. This hideout was built within a vast, stony valley, which was encompassed by swampy forest covered hills. In the center of the valley, the stronghold was built into a large stony hill, which included unique rock formations.
During the Republic Era, Mol created a hideout on Numidian Prime after she gained galaxy-wide recognition for murdering many individuals while hunting after her assigned bounties. Around 66 BBY, she and some of her followers started to operate out of the valley stronghold. After discovering Mol's location, several Jedi were dispatched to Numidian Prime to capture the bounty hunter and her followers as part of the Numidian Prime strike team.
Upon their arrival to the planet, the strike team successfully captured Mol's followers. Two members of the team, Jedi Master Dooku and his Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn, then began their mission to capture the Falleen herself, heading towards her hideout. Using a scanner to locate the correct coordinates, Jinn traveled to the stronghold's valley on a speeder bike through Numidian Prime's forests, expecting his Master to follow his location. Arriving at the base of the hideout's hill, Mol surprised the Padawan and held him at blaster-point. Dooku arrived shortly after the pair began talking and used Force lightning on the bounty hunter, which allowed the Jedi to take her into custody and leave the valley. The strike team left Numidian Prime, and Mol was imprisoned on the Outer Rim planet Stygeon Prime. Following the mission's end and the strike team's disbandment, Jinn worried about his Master's use of Force lightning on Mol during the Numidian Prime altercation, fearing Dooku might have been slipping toward the darkness.
The novel Master & Apprentice, written by Claudia Gray and released on April 16, 2019, included a flashback that mentioned Mol's hideout. Before the novel was released, the hideout's mention was included in an excerpt from StarWars.com for the book, which was released on April 5 of that year.
