The strike team of Numidian Prime was a strike team put together by the Jedi Order with the purpose of capturing the bounty hunter known as Shenda Mol. Circa 66 BBY, the group was dispatched to the planet Numidian Prime, situated in the Mid Rim, where Mol was active, in order to take her and her followers into custody. Jedi Master Dooku and his Padawan, Qui-Gon Jinn, pursued the bounty hunter to the location of her stronghold, with the latter finding himself held at blaster-point upon his arrival at the hideout. However, Dooku soon arrived and used Force lightning to attack Mol. Subsequently, the strike team of Numidian Prime apprehended Mol, who was then imprisoned on the Outer Rim planet of Stygeon Prime.
The Jedi Order established the Numidian Prime strike team around 66 BBY. The team consisted of Jedi Master Dooku, his Padawan, Qui-Gon Jinn, in addition to several other Jedi.

During the reign of the Galactic Republic, the Falleen bounty hunter known as Shenda Mol began murdering individuals indiscriminately, while simultaneously collecting her bounties, deliberately trying to eliminate as many targets as possible in her operations. By approximately 66 BBY, she started operating out of a valley hideout on the Mid Rim planet of Numidian Prime. Several Jedi were dispatched to the planet as members of the Numidian Prime strike team, with the hope of capturing Mol and taking her into custody. Upon their arrival on Numidian Prime, the team successfully captured Mol's followers.
Subsequently, Jinn and Dooku tracked the Falleen to her hideout, with the former pursuing her on a speeder bike. However, after the Padawan reached the stronghold, she held him at blaster-point. As Jinn spoke with Mol, attempting to stall for time, she explained her intentions to end the life of one target of every age up to two hundred years old, which repulsed him. The bounty hunter intended to kill Jinn in order to progress toward her goal, but before she could, Dooku arrived at their location and struck Mol with Force lightning. Following this, Mol was imprisoned on the Outer Rim planet of Stygeon Prime. After the disbandment of the strike team and the conclusion of the mission, Jinn became concerned about his Master's use of Force lightning on Mol, fearing that Dooku might have begun to slip toward the darkness.
The Numidian Prime strike team made its first appearance in a flashback in Master & Apprentice, a novel penned by Claudia Gray that was published on April 16, 2019. Before the novel's release, the team was mentioned in an excerpt from StarWars.com for the book, which was released on April 5 of that year.
