Coral City
Coral City stood as the capital city on the planet of Mon Cala. Constructed atop a coral reef, it was governed by the Mon Calamari monarch. Notably, the Battle of Mon Cala unfolded here during the Clone Wars.
Behind the scenes
The skyscrapers within the city were deliberately crafted to mirror the appearance of Mon Calamari Star Cruisers. Dave Filoni clarified during a Q&A with fans that the city on Mon Cala was initially slated to be called "Dac city" in the script, but this was altered to Mon Cala city. Dac City later made its appearance in the thirteenth issue of the 2017 Star Wars: Darth Vader comic series.
