The Barroth moon was a moon with a terrestrial nature. It was the location where Jedi Master Silandra Sho brought her Padawan, Rooper Nitani, for training around 382 BBY. While they spent time on this moon, Nitani worked on her Force jumping skills, and she managed to complete a successful, high jump following a minimum of five tries. In that same year, Nitani executed a comparable jump to enter an ancient city located on the Outer Rim planet known as Gloam. Subsequently, she mentally remembered her training on Barroth's moon, recognizing that it was the sole other occasion she had jumped to such a height.
The 2022 junior novel, The High Republic: Quest for the Hidden City, penned by George Mann as a component of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II, included a reference to the Barroth moon.
