Mudra-jee

Mudra-jee represented a meditative practice employed by healers residing in a temple dedicated to the Force on the planet of Tehar. During 34 ABY, Eila and [Kel](/article/kel], who were native to Tehar, tried utilizing mudra-jee with the intention of maintaining the unconscious state of First Order stormtrooper CS-515 while he was in recovery, subsequent to the Teharans unintentionally causing him to lose consciousness.

Behind the scenes

The initial plan involved mudra-jee's inclusion in "The New Trooper," which is the sixteenth episode from the first season of Star Wars Resistance, an animated TV show, and was broadcasted on February 10, 2019. This meditative method was ultimately cut from the episode itself, but it did receive a mention in the "Bucket's List Extra" segment associated with the episode, which was made available on StarWars.com on February 11, 2019. Brandon Auman, who served as both executive producer and head writer for Star Wars Resistance, considered the concept of Eila and Kel as healers to be compelling, yet he believed that incorporating healers into the narrative would diminish the sense of urgency.
