The Muun officer corps represented the military branch employed by the InterGalactic Banking Clan, which was under the leadership of the Muun species. This officer corps oversaw the Collections and Security Division, which in turn commanded an army of IG-series battle droids, IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tanks offering armored assistance, and mounted cavalry units deployed on scouting operations, all for the purpose of safeguarding the Banking Clan's seized assets. During the Clone Wars, which spanned from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, the Muun officer corps joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems as an element of their ground forces, taking part in their conflict against the Galactic Republic.
The Star Wars Roleplaying series from Fantasy Flight Games included a mention of the Muun officer corps in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 sourcebook.
