The endeavor took an unfortunate turn when Neverez suffered a bruised tailbone in an accident. Following this event, Neverez and his fellow Jedi reported the incident to the Jedi High Council. Subsequently, Nattai received orders for an aid mission to Eiram, a planet in need. She frequently reflected on her perceived failure with her Orvax team, burdened by guilt.
During the High Republic Era, Neverez, a Force-sensitive individual, served as a Jedi within the Jedi Order. He became part of a Republic Pathfinder team, headed by the Jedi Knight Gella Nattai. Their mission was an expedition to Orvax, a planet situated in the Outer Rim, with the intent of establishing contact with the planet's sentient species. However, three days into the mission, the team's equipment began to disappear. Despite this setback, Nattai insisted on proceeding with the primary objective of contacting Orvax's natives. Eventually, an accident occurred, resulting in injuries to the team, including Neverez, who sustained a bruised tailbone.
The Pathfinders, including Neverez, withdrew from the unsuccessful expedition. They then provided a report to the Jedi High Council. At some point, the Jedi Masters Char-Ryl-Roy and Creighton Sun discussed the incident, a conversation overheard by the former's Padawan, Enya Keen. Two weeks later, in 382 BBY, the Council dispatched Nattai, accompanied by Roy, Sun, and Keen, on an aid mission to the Outer Rim planet Eiram aboard the Alif-class Longbeam Valiant. During their journey to Eiram, Keen mentioned Neverez's bruised tailbone while discussing the injured Pathfinders from Nattai's team, revealing that she had overheard the details from Roy. In the aftermath, Nattai frequently reflected on her errors during the Orvax mission, often experiencing guilt as she recalled the screams of her team.
Neverez received a mention in Convergence, a 2022 novel penned by Zoraida Córdova. This novel is part of Phase II of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.
