The New Generation Academy, also known as the Osadia School, was an enigmatic institution situated on the wooded world of Osadia. It served as a training ground for children hailing from various planets, instructing them in the ways of The Force to prepare them for roles as Mandalorian Knights. Noteworthy students included Jarael and Chantique.
Overseeing the school was Master Antos Wyrick, who would later adopt the persona of Demagol, the infamous Mad Mandalorian Scientist. Numerous children journeyed from across the galaxy to Osadia to receive education at the academy. Jarael was a student there alongside Wyrick's daughter, Chantique, who, leveraging her status as the Master's offspring, often tormented her fellow pupils. Beyond this, the specific activities and teachings of the school remained shrouded in mystery.
At some point in time, the Crucible, a formidable organization involved in the slave trade, made its presence known on Osadia and began to cast its gaze upon the school's students. In an attempt to prevent the Crucible from abducting the students, Wyrick made the decision to offer his own daughter to them. This act sparked a profound and lasting hatred within Chantique towards her father.
Despite this offering, the Crucible persisted in its plans to seize the children, leading Captain Dace Golliard to launch an assault on the school, resulting in its complete destruction by fire. Wyrick, along with the other adults, endeavored to safeguard the children's escape, but the majority of them were ultimately captured.
Years later, Wyrick, operating under the alias of the scientist Demagol, encountered Jarael at the Flashpoint Stellar Research Station. Recognizing her, he resolved to protect her by assuming the identity of Rohlan Dyre, a Mandalorian whom he rendered comatose to avoid detection by the Republic authorities.
He diligently shielded Jarael, and following Zayne's departure due to Chantique's manipulation, he revealed his true identity and his plan to rescue the remaining students from the clutches of the Crucible, as he possessed knowledge of their location. However, Chantique disclosed that she had already murdered all of them and buried their remains on the school grounds.
