Nicobar

Nicobar, a male human, held the rank of ensign within the Imperial Navy. He was stationed on an Imperial defense station positioned within the Nuvar system. Following the Battle of Var-Shaa in 4 ABY, Nicobar, along with four other cadets including Werrens, was dispatched to this post. This occurred before they had completed their final examination, and they were assigned to the station under the supervision of an Imperial officer. Two months before the Incident in the Nuvar system, New Republic forces had seized the station. During this incident, due to the failure of Nicobar and his fellow cadets to remove the New Republic targeting protocols from the station's targeting computer, the station obliterated the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier named Exigent. Post destruction of the Exigent, Shen and Havina Vonreg, both TIE fighter pilots, executed a forceful landing of their TIE Reaper within the station's hangar, causing minor damage. They then proceeded to reprimand the cadets for their error. Shen lifted Nicobar off the ground, pressing him for answers he couldn't provide. After Vonreg called for their execution as punishment, Shen persuaded her that the burden of their guilt would serve as a sufficient penalty.

Behind the scenes

Joanna Berry penned the short story Count to Three, which marked Nicobar's debut appearance.
