The Exigent, a Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier that belonged to the Galactic Empire, met its end in the Nuvar system. This occurred after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, when, during a standard scouting operation, it was obliterated by missiles launched from a defense station nearby. The New Republic had recently seized this station, but its targeting systems hadn't been reset. Shen and Havina Vonreg, both TIE pilots from Titan Squadron, survived the destruction. They then boarded the station and corrected the targeting issue, while the Star Destroyer Overseer scoured the Nuvar system looking for any other individuals who had survived.
