Publisher's summary
In the wake of the first Death Star's destruction, Luke Skywalker unexpectedly rises as the Rebellion's new champion. However, galactic salvation remains elusive, as Luke and Princess Leia confront numerous ongoing battles against Darth Vader and the Empire! This latest Star Wars Omnibus presents a compilation of early Rebellion narratives. It begins with Shadow Stalker, Tales from Mos Eisley, and Star Wars: River of Chaos, all of which have been out of print for a long time and are collected here for the first time! Following that, we have Splinter of the Mind's Eye, a tale conceived by George Lucas and Alan Dean Foster before any sequels to Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope were planned. Finally, there's Vader's Quest, where Vader uncovers the secret that Yoda and Obi-Wan kept hidden from him: the existence of his son!
