Oon Garat, a female alien distinguished by her gray skin, held the rank of lieutenant under the Hutt crime lord Zodoh. Their association occurred during the Aquilaris campaign within the era of the Republic Dark Age. She operated on Voracious, Zodoh's flagship fighter carrier, but her life ended in 1032 BBY during the Battle of Darkknell when she was exposed and ejected into the vacuum of space.
Aboard Zodoh's capital ship, the Voracious, Oon Garat participated in a hologram conference involving several Sith Lords, including Odion, Arkadia Calimondra, and Malakite. During this meeting, her Hutt superior detailed his scheme to provide slaves and weaponry to the Sith Lords in return for their assistance. She was also aware of his scheme to utilize Stormdrivers to trigger artificial flooding on Aquilaris in 1032 BBY.
After the conference, she voiced her reservations about trusting the Sith. Zodoh countered by asserting that the Sith could be relied upon for their greed and were ignorant of his true motives. Garat informed him that the Stormdriver had gathered the necessary data on Aquilaris before its destruction by Jenn Devaad's Devil Squadron starfighters during the Battle of Capital Cay. Content that his longtime Republic adversary Devaad had arrived too late to thwart his plans, he instructed Oon Garat to dispatch a courier to Nal Hutta with instructions to deploy the Stormdrivers. Zodoh acknowledged that the Sith would not accept a Hutt rival but declared his intention to overcome them and seize control of the Grumani sector.
During the Battle of Darkknell, Oon Garat was also present, handing Zodoh a Mandalorian vibroblade for his duel with Kerra. Her life was cut short when Jenn's starfighter breached the warship's control dome, subjecting the crew to the vacuum of space.
Oon Garat's initial appearance was as a secondary antagonist in the Deluge story arc of the Star Wars: Knight Errant comic series, which debuted in August of 2011. John Jackson Miller fleshed out her backstory, while Ivan Rodriguez provided the artwork and Michael Atiyeh handled the coloring.
