The Ord Mantell Orbital Station was a space station that functioned as an orbiting platform around the planet of Ord Mantell. This station existed throughout the Cold War and the subsequent Galactic War, conflicts that pitted the Galactic Republic against the reconstituted Sith Empire. Situated within the Bright Jewel system, part of the larger Bright Jewel Cluster in the Mid Rim, the station provided a stopping point for passing starships. Individuals desiring to visit the surface of the war-torn planet were required to first dock at the station before taking a shuttle down to the world below.

During 3643 BBY, a Jedi Knight whose identity remains unknown made their way to the station. This Jedi Knight, accompanied by the droid T7-O1, proceeded to the planet's surface. The Knight's Padawan, Kira Carsen, remained on the station with the task of gathering information. However, Sith agents present on the station detected her. These spies then contacted the Sith Lord Darth Angral, who soon arrived with General Hacklin and Inquisitor Ferav. Ferav and Angral began interrogating Carsen to discover the Knight's location, but she successfully misled them by suggesting her master was heading to Corellia. Angral and Hacklin then left the station, leaving Ferav with the Padawan. When the Knight and T7 returned to the station, the Jedi and the droid were compelled to rescue Kira from Ferav, resulting in the Sith's death.
The Ord Mantell Orbital Station's creation was for the game Star Wars: The Old Republic. This massively multiplayer online role-playing game was launched by BioWare on December 20, 2011. It functions as the spaceport for the planet Ord Mantell, which is only accessible to Republic players. Access to the station requires players to have their own ship. Following arrival, players can use a shuttle to descend to the planet's surface. Within the Jedi Knight class storyline, the player is forced to engage Inquisitor Ferav in a duel upon their return to the station before they are able to depart.
