Otoh Langua, alternatively referred to as Langua, constituted a minor city of the Gungan species situated on the planet of Naboo. During the Trade Federation's Invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY, Otoh Langua was among the Gungan communities that were attacked by the Trade Federation Droid Army. The militiagungs residing in the city, one of whom was the Gungan female Oma Prumba, were pursued by battle droids until they arrived at the Gungan Sacred Place for the Boss Meetup. It was from this location that the Gungan Grand Army formulated their strategy for retaliating against the Trade Federation in the Battle of Naboo. Prumba later referenced the city when recounting the events of the battle.
The introduction of Otoh Langua to the current Star Wars canon occurred through its mention in Star Wars: On the Front Lines, a reference book authored by Daniel Wallace in 2017. Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the initial mention of Otoh Langua appeared in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide by Steven L. Kent, which was released on November 7, 2001. Subsequently, it was featured in the video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds developed by LucasArts, launched on November 11 of the same year.
