The Boss Meetup refers to the assembly of Gungans at their Sacred Place that occurred after the Trade Federation's attacks on Gungan cities during the Invasion of Naboo. The Gungans intended to strategize their retaliatory strikes against the Trade Federation at this gathering. However, their meeting faced an interruption when the Human Naboo, specifically Queen Padmé Amidala, appeared and, revealing herself from her handmaiden guise, requested an alliance between the two species. This act moved Nass, ultimately resulting in the unification of the two groups for the Battle of Naboo.
