The Pikaati were a two-legged, thinking species with heads featuring prominent, bulb-shaped cranial lobes. Their respiration relied on hydrogen cyanide, a gas deadly to humans due to its poisonous nature. They were the creators of Pikaati armor, a scarce black armor renowned for its resistance to blaster weaponry, though it was taken from them. A complete set of Pikaati equipment eventually came into the hands of Thetis Quelton, the proprietor of Quelton Fabrications. Quelton admired their skill and thought she might gain inspiration from examining their armor.
