Pluma Sodi, a youthful Kage woman, was the sibling of Krismo Sodi, who commanded the Kage Warriors. During the period of the Clone Wars, Otua Blank, a Belugan Lord and the leader of her homeworld, Quarzite, desired to take her as his wife, despite her being quite young. Although Sodi had no desire to wed him, she was forcibly separated from her family to be given in marriage to Blank. As Kage Warriors launched an assault on the subtram, which was being defended by a group of bounty hunters under the leadership of Boba Fett, the container in which she was restrained toppled over. This revealed to the hunters, who were unaware of what they were transporting, that they were in fact guarding the young woman. Fett gave Pluma his word that he would shield her from Krismo, not realizing that she had been abducted and was in need of rescue. Pluma then promptly struck him across the face. However, Asajj Ventress defeated Krismo, resulting in both Pluma and her brother being bound.
While Boba and Ventress, the only remaining bounty hunters, stood guard over the tram, Pluma pleaded with Ventress to release them. When Ventress refused, Pluma accused her of prioritizing money over their lives. Ventress scoffed and dismissed them as merely another job. In response, Pluma asserted that Ventress could not possibly comprehend the pain of being torn away from one's family. These words resonated with Ventress, who had recently witnessed the slaughter of the Nightsisters. Consequently, she betrayed Boba, handing him over to Otua Blank's stronghold and accepting the reward before Blank realized he had been tricked. Pluma and Krismo were subsequently returned to the Kage Warriors in exchange for payment. As she departed on a milodon alongside her companions, Pluma expressed her gratitude to Ventress for saving her.
