Krismo Sodi commanded the Kage Warriors, a group of Kage fighters hailing from the planet of Quarzite. They stood in opposition to the reign of Lord Otua Blank, the Belugan dictator. In the year 20 BBY, Blank orchestrated the abduction of Sodi's younger sister, Pluma, intending to take her as his bride. Consequently, Sodi spearheaded a rescue mission with his Kage Warriors, aiming to prevent Pluma from ending up in Blank's hands. The Kage launched an assault on Blank's subtram, which was transporting Pluma. They successfully overcame the majority of the hired bounty hunters and Belugan guards assigned to protect the operation. However, the Kage suffered significant casualties, ultimately leaving Sodi as the only surviving member.
Despite being the sole survivor, Sodi killed Major Rigosso, Blank's military officer, and triumphed over Boba Fett, the leader of the bounty hunters. Before he could secure Pluma's release, Sodi was ambushed and subdued by Asajj Ventress, the last remaining bounty hunter. Although Ventress initially intended to deliver Pluma as planned, Pluma's pleas caused her to reconsider. Following the payment of a ransom to Ventress, Sodi and his sister were freed.
Krismo Sodi was a male Kage originating from the planet Quarzite. He had a younger sister named Pluma Sodi and held the position of leader within the Kage Warriors, a distinguished fighting force composed of Kage, during the year 20 BBY.
During that year, the Kage were embroiled in a civil war against Lord Otua Blank, the dictator of Quarzite and a member of the Belugan species that co-inhabited the planet. Throughout the conflict, Kage Warriors engaged in raids and looting of Belugan subtrams. Despite the reputation of Blank's military force, led by the Belugan officer Major Rigosso, as an elite unit, they were consistently outmatched by Sodi's warriors.
At some point, Lord Blank developed an amorous interest in Pluma Sodi and initiated a mission to abduct the Kage girl, intending to force her into marriage. Consequently, Pluma was captured by Blank's [soldiers](/article/soldier]. In response, Sodi organized a rescue operation with the remaining Kage Warriors and discovered that Pluma was scheduled to be transported to Otua Blank's stronghold via subtram. The Kage located the subtram station and prepared an ambush. However, the Belugans anticipated Sodi's intervention, prompting Major Rigosso, the leader of the Belugan mission, to hire a contingent of bounty hunters to safeguard the subtram.

As the Belugan subtram departed for Blank's stronghold, the Kage, mounted on centipede-like milodons, launched their attack. The milodons maintained pace with the subtram, and Sodi directed his warriors to board in groups. Sodi observed his men fighting their way past the bounty hunters Dengar and Asajj Ventress on the subtram's caboose, progressing further along the train. Despite increasing Kage losses, the majority of the bounty hunters and two Belugan guards were ejected from the train during the prolonged skirmish. Sodi, now among the last surviving members of his rescue team, was the final one to board the tram to confront the few remaining defenders.
Sodi first encountered Latts Razzi and the droid C-21 Highsinger, and after a rapid duel, both bounty hunters were thrown from the train. Subsequently, Sodi encountered Major Rigosso, who blocked access to the subtram car containing Pluma. After mocking Sodi's tenacity, Sodi killed Rigosso by throwing an electro sword.
Sodi discovered his sister confined within a box in the car, but before he could reach her, he was confronted by Boba Fett, the leader of the bounty hunters. During the ensuing fight, Pluma's box was overturned and opened when Fett was thrown into it. Fett, who had been unaware of the cargo's nature until that moment, attempted to assist Pluma but recoiled when she struck him. Fett was then knocked out by Sodi. Before the Sodis could escape, they encountered a final obstacle: Ventress, who had evaded her attackers from the caboose.
Ventress, a former dark side assassin and seasoned soldier in the concurrent Clone Wars, defeated Sodi in a brief battle and tied him to a chair.

Although Ventress and Fett intended to proceed with their mission, Pluma pleaded for their release. Pluma resonated with Ventress by describing the horror of being taken from one's home. Ventress, who had recently experienced a significant loss of her own on her homeworld, ultimately sympathized with the siblings' predicament. Fett argued with Ventress and was subsequently bound, gagged, and placed inside Pluma's box.
After delivering Fett to Lord Blank, Ventress demanded that Sodi have the Kage Warriors pay a ransom for Pluma's release. Despite Sodi's hesitation and distrust of Ventress, he agreed and had the Kage pay the ransom. Ventress honored the agreement and released Pluma. Before departing on a milodon with her brother, Pluma expressed her gratitude to Ventress for her mercy.
Krismo Sodi, the most skilled member of the Kage Warriors, was willing to risk his own life and the lives of his men to carry out a rescue mission to save his sister from Lord Otua Blank. Sodi was protective of his sister and remained undeterred by the opposition he faced. Despite subduing the bounty hunters without lethal force, Sodi killed Major Rigosso when the Belugan provoked him. Upon meeting Asajj Ventress, Sodi made no attempt to conceal his disdain for her.
Upon reuniting with Pluma, he immediately rushed to her side to ensure her well-being. Although Pluma was surprised by Sodi's efforts to save her, they were both overjoyed to see each other again. Later, Sodi became suspicious of Ventress after she saved Pluma from Lord Blank, fearing that she would betray them to the Belugans after receiving the ransom. However, Ventress proved him wrong by honoring their agreement.
Sodi was a Kage male with gray-colored skin adorned with dark gray tattoos. Standing at 1.89 meters tall, Sodi had golden eyes and black hair with a white tint. He wore his hair in a ponytail.

While much of Sodi's combat during the rescue mission was done unarmed, he carried two electro swords, using one to kill Major Rigosso. He later used them to disarm Boba Fett of his blaster pistols, but lost the swords during Fett's counterattack.
Like the other Kage Warriors, Sodi wore dark-colored clothing, including a hood that concealed his face. However, Sodi's clothing was distinguished by gold stripes and patterns.

Krismo Sodi made his debut in "Bounty," the twentieth episode of the fourth season of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the episode, which aired on March 2, 2012, Sodi was voiced by Ben Diskin, who also voiced his nemesis, Otua Blank. The events of "Bounty" were later briefly referenced in the novel Dark Disciple, penned by Christie Golden.
In the initial story drafts, both Sodi and his sister Pluma, originally named Pluma Sweet, were conceived as human lovers rather than siblings. The idea of them being siblings was introduced during editorial discussions, and the change was implemented. Sodi's design was also inspired by conceptual artwork from Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace by Iain McCaig, intended for the character Obi-Wan Kenobi. Retained elements from the design include a thin ponytail and the tattoo on Sodi's forehead.
Concept art for Sodi in "Bounty" was developed by Will Nichols.
