Porter Engle's family

The Ikkrukkian male named Porter Engle had a family prior to his acceptance into the Jedi Order. He began his training to become a Jedi within the Jedi Temple located on the Core Worlds planet of Coruscant, starting around 407 BBY. Around 397 BBY, Engle learned from his close Jedi friend, Barash Silvain of the Kage, that she retained memories of her family before joining the Order, and that she considered him family once more. Silvain then inquired if Engle would consider becoming her brother, to which he responded that while he lacked memories of his own family, he understood the concept of family dynamics. He further explained that familial bonds don't require explicit requests, as they simply exist organically. The Ikkrukkian then declared that while his expertise in being a brother was limited, he was willing to improve, thereby accepting her proposition.
