Prisht parfait




The Prisht parfait was a straightforward, uncomplicated parfait crafted by blending a small quantity of pristine, white cream together with red and yellow prisht-fruit originating from the Inner Rim planet of Barlok. This dessert was presented inside a glass, where the cream served to temper the prisht-fruit's innate sweetness. The Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs, after procuring some prisht-fruit during a culinary expedition across the galaxy between 34 ABY and 35 ABY that included a visit to Barlok, incorporated a recipe for this parfait into his third cookbook, titled The Ultimate Cookbook, which saw publication in 35 ABY. Within its pages, he expressed his preference for this simple parfait over other culinary creations featuring the fruit.

Behind the scenes

The prisht parfait was conceived as a recipe intended for the 2023 publication Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a culinary guide authored by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak. The out-of-universe rendition of the parfait's recipe calls for the use of vanilla yogurt, peanut butter, hulled and quartered strawberries, mango, shredded coconut, chopped pistachios, and honey. The prisht parfait was offered for the last time at the hotel during the voyage spanning September 2830 of 2023, marking the final voyage before Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser's closure.
