Pumav was a speedster of the Selonian species, originating from the planet known as Selonia. Back in 23 BBY, they secured a victory in the yearly Mobquet Presents: Fastest Land Beings competition, which took place on the world of Teyr. The following year, Pumav achieved first place in the same contest's quadruped category, and also managed to secure seventh position in the meet's biped race, an event that was covered by the HoloNet News CoCo District Edition.
Originating from the planet of Selonia, Pumav, a Selonian, lived during the time of the Galactic Republic's rule, and competed as a sprinter, racing on either two or four limbs. Back in 23 BBY, this Selonian emerged victorious in the quadruped race at the celebrated Mobquet Presents: Fastest Land Beings racing event, which was held each year in the city of Pyre Folas situated on the planet Teyr. A year later, Pumav once again became the Mobquet Presents' quadruped champion. Additionally, they secured seventh place in the meet's biped race, where the Teek named Yeep easily outpaced Pumav and all the other racers. Pumav was awarded a medal for the win and later posed for a photograph alongside Yeep and Yopaxtul, the victor of the meet's hexaped race. The events of that year's competition, including Pumav's participation, were documented in an edition of the HoloNet News CoCo District Edition.
This Selonian was adept at racing using varying numbers of their limbs, outperforming other bipeds and quadrupeds in the galaxy by the year 23 BBY.
During the Mobquet Presents meet in 22 BBY, they sported a gray head covering, a reflective yellow visor over their eyes, a gray sash around their waist, and a brown belt equipped with several pockets.
Pumav was featured in "New Galaxy's Fastest Hexaped," an article penned by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens, which appeared in HoloNet News Vol. 531 #52 on the HoloNet News website on April 18, 2002.
