R-DUO, a droid, provided assistance to Am and Karre, dark side twin siblings, in conjunction with B-2ON. Karre considered him a close confidant, and their bond was one of mutual reliance.
Studio Trigger and Hiroyuki Imaishi, the director, brought R-DUO to life for "THE TWINS," a short film featured in the Star Wars: Visions anthology. The relationship between the droid and Karre is inspired by the dynamic between R2-D2 and Luke Skywalker.
