B-2ON, a droid, fulfilled the role of attendant for the twins, Am and Karre, who were Dark Lords serving the T-Empire. Sometime following the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY, B-2ON was present with Am in her throne room aboard a Gemini-class Star Destroyer. He informed her that the final touches were being applied to the vessel and its hyper cannon superweapon, indicating its imminent operational status. Just as Am issued the command to activate the [weapon](/article/weapon], an alert signaled the theft of the reactor core's power source. Am deduced that Karre was the thief, prompting B-2ON to accompany her to a hangar where they confronted him. Aided by his astromech droid, R-DUO, Karre managed to flee the hangar, subsequently engaging Am in a duel on the Star Destroyer's exterior. After Karre's victory left Am unconscious and adrift, B-2ON employed a jetpack to retrieve her.

As a droid, B-2ON faithfully served Am and Karre, the Force-sensitive twins who held the title of Dark Lords within the T-Empire. He was instrumental in Am's upbringing, acting as her nanny, teacher, and constant companion. Following the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY, B-2ON was with Am in her throne room aboard a Gemini-class Star Destroyer, relaying the information that the final preparations for the vessel were complete. The droid recalled watching Am and Karre mature, and he became emotional upon realizing that he would soon witness them achieve their objective of bringing order to the galaxy.
Following Am's declaration that they would accomplish this, B-2ON informed her that the final adjustments to the Star Destroyer's hyper cannon superweapon had been completed, and it was nearly ready to fire. Am inquired if the [weapon](/article/weapon] would be at full power, and B-2ON confirmed its readiness, explaining how the hyper cannon utilized dark energy to obliterate planets or entire star systems. B-2ON then pointed out that the hyper cannon employed the same dark energy as the prototype dark armor used by Am and Karre, voicing his concerns about the potential impact on their physical well-being. Am dismissed his worries, stating her willingness to sacrifice anything for the dark side. The droid found her response inspiring, and pledged his eternal service to her and Karre.

Am then gave the order to prepare the hyper cannon for firing, but at that moment, they received an alert that the reactor core's power source had been taken. B-2ON expressed his surprise, noting that only Am and Karre had access to the reactor core chamber. Am and B-2ON realized Karre was absent from his throne room, and the droid questioned his whereabouts, while Am recognized that Karre had stolen the power core—secretly doing so to protect Am's life.
B-2ON accompanied Am and a contingent of T-Stormtroopers to intercept Karre in a hangar on the ship, where he intended to commandeer a T-X-wing starfighter and escape. Am attempted to persuade Karre to return the power core, and B-2ON voiced his disappointment in Karre's actions. However, Karre refused to comply, leading Am to prepare for an attack. Before she could strike, Karre's astromech droid, R-DUO, fired upon Am from the stolen X-wing, allowing Karre to escape the hangar. Am gave chase, and the two engaged in a duel on the Star Destroyer's surface. Karre emerged victorious, destroying her armor and a portion of the Star Destroyer, leaving her unconscious and adrift amidst the wreckage. Equipped with a jetpack and helmet, B-2ON flew to Am and brought her to safety.
B-2ON possessed a humanoid form characterized by black plating and red sensors. He was known for his experience and reserved demeanor, but also displayed an emotional side, stemming from his deep dedication and loyalty. His unwavering resolve was focused on safeguarding Am and fulfilling his masters' mission.

B-2ON made his debut in "THE TWINS," a short film penned by Hiromi Wakabayashi, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, and released as part of the first volume of the non-canon Star Wars: Visions anthology. This animated short, produced by Studio Trigger, premiered on September 22, 2021. Tokuyoshi Kawashima provided his voice in Japanese, while Jonathan Lipow voiced him in the English dub. Before the short's release, B-2ON was initially featured in a video uploaded to the official Star Wars YouTube channel on July 3, 2021. Subsequently, B-2ON appeared in both the original Japanese and English dub trailers for the series, both of which were uploaded to the official Star Wars YouTube channel on August 17 of the same year. His name was first mentioned in a StarWars.com article published on August 17, 2021, although it was initially misspelled as B-20N. The correct spelling of B-2ON was first provided in another article published on September 15 of that year, although it repeated the spelling error in its initial mention of the character.
B-2ON serves as a reference to the droid C-3PO, with B-2ON's name derived by shifting each letter and number in C-3PO's name by one position. B-2ON's role mirrors that of Alfred, the butler to the DC comics superhero Batman, and Visions producer Kanako Shirasaki likened his manner of speaking to that of an old butler. Imaishi expressed his appreciation for the contrast between Star Wars droids, who appear as robots but possess human-like personalities.
