Rakehell (Sorannan-class)

The EX-F functioned as an experimental Imperial warship, evaluating cutting-edge engine and weapon systems. This vessel belonged to the Black Fleet, which the alien Yevetha seized near the conclusion of 4 ABY. They renamed it the Glory of Yevetha, but the Imperial Remnant eventually reclaimed it in 17 ABY, renaming it once more to the Rakehell. However, it met its end in the Battle of Anx Minor during that same year.

History

Serving within the Black Fleet was the ship designated EX-F. Prior to the Battle of Endor, it was equipped for testing new weapon and propulsion technologies, drawing the attention of Alliance Intelligence. Before Endor, the ship vanished from records. It resurfaced eight months after the battle, docked at the Black Fifteen shipyards on N'zoth within the Koornacht Cluster, a facility under the control of Black Sword Command.

Following the Yevethan capture of the Black Fleet, the EX-F was rechristened as the Glory. Despite twelve years of efforts to reverse-engineer its technology, the Yevetha were unable to fully comprehend its engine systems. Consequently, it was not involved in the initial phases of the Yevethan Purge. It was subsequently relocated to Morning Bell.

In 17 ABY, Imperial survivors, whom the Yevetha had kept for their technical expertise, recaptured it. Along with the other Imperial ships in the Black Fleet, it left Koornacht for the [Deep Core](/article/deep_core-legends]. However, its crew soon chose to join the Imperial Remnant forces in the Outer Rim. During the Battle of Anx Minor in 17 ABY, the EX-F, then known as the Rakehell, was destroyed. This occurred when its antimatter containment failed, resulting in the destruction of multiple Star Destroyers nearby.
