Raynod Menar was a Human male who operated as a criminal on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era.
By the Battle of Yavin, Raynod Menar had risen to lead the cave-dwellers, a criminal organization and anti-establishment group from Corellia that stood in opposition to the Corellian government. At some point, Raynod Menar made the decision to relocate all members of his group to the Corellian wilderness, seeking a life of isolation. Ultimately, they found refuge within a cave located in the Thaos Mountains.
In 1 ABY, the psychotic cave-dwellers took two groups of hikers as prisoners within the Thaos Mountains. Commander Talte from the Corellian Security Force then employed a spacer to look into the disappearances of Ilyamo and the other missing hikers. The spacer engaged several cave-dwellers at the location where the second group had vanished. Utilizing a communicator discovered on a deceased cave-dweller, the spacer successfully pinpointed a signal leading to Menar's cave. The CorSec subsequently launched an assault on the cave in order to liberate the hostages. During this assault, Raynod Menar met his end at the hands of the spacer.
Raynod Menar's initial appearance was in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Raynod Menar was incorporated into the game with the release of "Publish 28," on April 26, 2006.
