Following a period of months after the commencement of the Iron Blockade, the Smuggler embarked on a rescue mission. This mission was focused on extracting vital members of the Uprising from the Crypt, an Imperial prison. These individuals had been incarcerated after a failed attempt to abduct Commander Bragh. The Smuggler was successful in liberating the imprisoned allies and triumphing over Bragh during the operation.
This rescue mission gives the impression that Bragh died in Star Wars: Uprising, given the character is shot and future references to them are only in the past tense. Yet, in the later comic Battle of Jakku — Last Stand 3, Bragh is shown to be alive during the time of the Battle of Jakku.
