Several months into the Galactic Empire's blockade of the Anoat sector, the Uprising devised a plan to abduct Commander Bragh, the Imperial Governor's Ubrik Adelhard's chief lieutenant and leader of the Purge Troopers.
The Uprising aimed to lure Bragh into the devastated city on Anoat by spreading false information: that Riley and her sibling, the Smuggler – two young outlaws bearing an Imperial death mark – were hiding there. The plan involved an ambush by the Smuggler and Kouhun assassins under the command of Deathstick as soon as Bragh arrived on Anoat. Simultaneously, several throneships belonging to the Noble Court would engage his Imperial-class Star Destroyer in orbit, preventing it from assisting him.
This abduction attempt, however, was destined to fail because Riley betrayed the Uprising by informing the Empire of their scheme. Believing that capturing Bragh would not convince Governor Adhelard to remove the death mark on her and her sibling, she chose to sabotage the operation, hoping the Empire would overlook their transgressions in exchange for the Nobles and the Kouhun. Ultimately, Bragh did not personally appear on Anoat's surface, and his Star Destroyer triumphed over the Throneships. Her Majesty, the leader of the Nobles, along with the assassin Loathe, were captured by Imperial forces. The captured Uprising members were then transported to an Imperial penitentiary known as the Crypt.
