Roah Palladane, a Human female, was married to Gorlan Palladane, a former Jedi Knight. Gorlan led the miners located in Jenith on Chelloa, a planet situated in the Outer Rim during the Republic Dark Age. Roah and Gorlan were the parents of two children, named Aneese and Jalen. In the year 1032 BBY, subsequent to the failure of the Jedi endeavor known as Operation Influx, she and her spouse gave refuge to the Jedi Kerra Holt. As a result, the Sith Lord Daiman's Correctors apprehended Gorlan, taking him to Daiman's mountain base, where he suffered beatings and torture.
After he admitted to communicating and working with the Jedi, Daiman stopped torturing her spouse, but he then instructed his forces to raze Jenith and gather the leaders from the Chelloan settlements. During the resulting repression, two of Daiman's Sith troopers stormed Roah's residence, intending to take her and her family into custody. However, Kerra Holt intervened and saved her by eliminating the Sith troopers. Roah disclosed that her husband had surrendered himself to Daiman in an attempt to prevent Odion – Daiman's Sith Lord brother and rival – from annihilating Chelloa by informing him that there was no baradium remaining. Odion had also intercepted his earlier message to the Jedi.
Upon Holt's revelation of her intention to assassinate Daiman, Roah contended that defeating her Sith enemies would offer minimal benefit to Chelloa. This caused Holt to change her focus from eliminating the Sith Lords to the original aims of Vannar Treece, which involved evacuating the population of Chelloa.
