Massive walls were constructed by Roy Teda to keep the impoverished populace out of Eliior, the affluent capital city of Romin; he also split the struggling world into two distinct regions. To line his own pockets, he welcomed criminals by opening the planet's banks and borders, taking payments in exchange for letting them in.
Ultimately, Anakin Skywalker, Ferus Olin, Siri Tachi, and Obi-Wan Kenobi all gave assistance to the citizens' revolution that led to Roy Teda's downfall.
After arriving on the planet disguised as the infamous Slam gang thieves, who had been apprehended recently, they also stopped the schemes of the nefarious scientist Jenna Zan Arbor.
The Force-sensitive twins Eldewn and Elsae Sarvool also resided on the planet. They were orphaned at the age of nine when a local crime lord ordered the assassination of their parents. They were scheduled to be moved to Coruscant because of their Force abilities, but after a gangster attacked their transport, they ended up back on Romin.
