Scourge (novel)


Scourge is a novel belonging to the Star Wars Legends continuity. It was penned by Jeff Grubb and adapts the narrative of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game adventure titled Tempest Feud, a collaborative work by Grubb and Owen K.C. Stephens published by Wizards of the Coast. Del Rey released Scourge as a paperback on April 24, 2012, with the Science Fiction Book Club also offering an exclusive hardcover version.

Synopsis

A Jedi Scholar seeks justice amidst the criminal underbelly of Hutt Space.

A young Jedi is murdered while attempting to uncover the location of a clandestine and treacherous trade route, with the reason behind his death remaining a perplexing enigma. Now, Mander Zuma, his former Master and a Jedi archivist, is determined to find the truth, all while grappling with his own self-doubt as a Jedi. Mander finds himself plunged into the dangerous world of the Hutts, struggling to outmaneuver smugglers, assassins, and crime bosses vying for absolute power.

Development

Huttstorm and A Rage of Hutts were considered as possible titles for Scourge.
