Seeds of Rage

The Seeds of Rage represent a collection of Sith artifacts crafted by Fulminiss, a Sith Lord belonging to the Sith Empire that experienced a resurgence. Fulminiss, renowned as a master in the field of Sith alchemy, conceived the Seeds as the pinnacle of his life's work, dedicated to discovering novel methods for corrupting living organisms. These Seeds, possessing a roughly cylindrical form and a width comparable to the shoulders of an average Human, were intended for subterranean deployment. They functioned by employing a combination of the dark side of the Force and subtle, low-frequency transmissions to exert influence over the emotions and thoughts of nearby sentient beings. Over extended periods, the Seeds induced insanity in their targets and tainted them with dark side energy, leading to a distortion of both the individuals affected and their surrounding environment.

History

During the period of the Galactic War, the Dread Masters' minion Lord Tagriss, pilfered the seeds from the Arcanum and then scattered them across numerous inhabited planets. Darth Acina of the Dark Council enlisted an Imperial operative, charging them with the task of retrieving the seeds. Concurrently, Cedral Gend, a Jedi Master, tasked a Republic agent with locating the seeds for the purpose of their destruction.

Behind the scenes

Following the concluding mission taking place on Ilum, during the "Alchemy of Evil" mission, Imperial players face a choice: they can either utilize the corrupted Jedi forge to integrate the seeds into a device that transforms into armor upon completion of the mission (aligning with dark side choices), or they can opt to return the seeds intact to Darth Acina, who will then secure them within a more fortified location on Ziost (reflecting light side choices). Republic players are similarly presented with the option to merge the Seeds (dark side dialogue), or they can deliver the seeds to Cedral Gend, who will subsequently launch them into a neighboring star (light side dialogue).
