During the Galactic Empire's reign, [Sharin], a human female, held the rank of major within the Imperial Security Bureau. Around the time of 3 ABY, Emperor Palpatine dispatched Sharin to evaluate the security protocols implemented at various clandestine Imperial facilities, following the defeat suffered by Commander Ellian Zahra. Sharin's initial destination was the second Death Star, where she engaged in conversation with Moff Tiaan Jerjerrod, the station's commander. After hearing about the security measures in place on the Death Star, Sharin told the Moff that while she anticipated finding serious issues during her mission, his facility impressed her with its efficiency and passed her inspection. Subsequently, Sharin proceeded towards the Scopium, a Lambda-class T-4a shuttle slated to transport her to Al'doleem for an investigation into a recent event at Mount Pasvaal. As Sharin approached the ships pilot, she realized that the individual present was not the pilot assigned to her. Following this discovery, Bevelyn, a Death Star II employee attempting to escape the station with Jerjerrod's aide and her husband Lieutenant Jon Melton, who was disguised as Sharin's pilot, seized Sharin and fatally snapped her neck, killing her. Melton then piloted the shuttle away from the Death Star.
