Shimrra's Citadel

The Citadel, initially a Koros-Strohna, possessed the ability to return to space should the situation demand it. Its apex was adorned with a spire composed of yorik coral, giving it the visual impression of a mountain, and it maintained an "upright" orientation while in space. Dovin basals were employed to manipulate the surrounding environment, creating the illusion of rainbows emanating from the Citadel.

Distinct entrances were designated for each of the four ruling castes, all converging at the Hall of Confluence. This hall served as Shimrra's public throne room, where he presided over the Elite. Elsewhere within the Citadel, the Warmaster's command grotto was cultivated for the Warmaster of the Yuuzhan Vong, providing a space for him to strategize and prepare for assaults.

Shimrra's private chambers, his coffer, and a yorik-trema functioning as his personal escape pod were located at the spire's summit. The private throne room featured a moat of black Yuuzhan Vong blood separating the entrance from Shimrra's throne. Both the Hall of Confluence and the coffer incorporated dovin basals that amplified gravity as one approached the hau polyp throne, inducing a sensation of walking uphill for those approaching the Supreme Overlord. Onimi, the Shamed One serving as Shimrra's jester but secretly the true Supreme Overlord, could manipulate the Citadel independently, bypassing the control of a yammosk, dhuryam, or even Shimrra himself.

During the Battle of Yuuzhan'tar, Galactic Alliance forces, including Page's Commandos and YVH 1 droids, breached the Citadel, thereby desecrating the structure. Due to its connection to Onimi, the Citadel was destroyed in a self-inflicted manner upon his death.
