The skirmish on Lehon represents both a battle and a rescue mission occurring on Lehon at the Black Rakata settlement. Revan, once a Sith Lord but now a Jedi Padawan, received instructions to extract an Elder Rakatan from the clutches of the One within their settlement, with a warning that negotiation was futile. Revan, accompanied by two allies, engaged the Black Rakata in combat, ultimately killing the One and successfully freeing the captive, who then went back to the elder settlement.
In 3960 BBY, Darth Revan, then a Sith Lord, visited Lehon alongside his apprentice Darth Malak. Their objective was to locate the Star Forge in preparation for their eventual war against the Galactic Republic. The two Sith extracted the Rakata language from the One and replaced it with Basic to facilitate communication with the Black Rakata. They sought the Black Rakata's assistance in accessing the Temple of the Ancients, but the One proposed that the Elders possessed an ancient text that held the key. He desired the Sith to retrieve the tome and subdue the Elders, knowing that the Sith could exploit the Force to seize it. However, Revan and Malak instead allied with the Elders, a development unknown to the One.
Later, in 3956 BBY, Revan returned as a Jedi Padawan, seeking the Star Forge to defeat his former apprentice, Malak. He approached the One, who again requested Revan's assistance in exchange for entry into the ancient Temple. Yet again, Revan chose to side with the Elders, who persuaded him to liberate one of their soldiers held captive by the One. He was cautioned that diplomacy was impossible due to the One's brutality.
Revan, with two companions, departed from the Elder settlement to liberate the prisoner from the One, making their way to the One's compound. As the trio approached the settlement, the Black Rakatans, accompanied by their rancor beasts, ambushed them, seeking retribution for their perceived offenses against the One. The three prevailed against their attackers before entering the settlement to locate the prisoner.
Upon entering, the team faced immediate assault, eliminating Black Rakatans like Luo and Gjarshi stationed near the entrance. The One activated a lever, releasing several rancors in an attempt to overwhelm the intruders. These rancor beasts and the remaining Black Rakatans were defeated, and the One himself perished in the ensuing chaos.
The One's demise resulted in the annihilation of the Black Rakata, as all members and their beasts were killed during the skirmish. Revan successfully returned the prisoner to the Elders, who then agreed to assist Revan in entering the Temple. The Jedi, accompanied by Jolee Bindo and Juhani, entered the Temple and proceeded to defeat Malak and ensure the Star Forge's destruction.
