Snowflake Snack

"Snowflake Snack" is a short, animated LEGO film, considered non-canon, that debuted on the internet on November 5, 2020. This short is a part of the LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season online series. The story focuses on the foundling Grogu and the Mandalorian Din Djarin as they experience snow.

Official description

Inside the Razor Crest, the Child awakens and quietly slips past the Mandalorian, who is still sleeping, to experience his first snowfall.

Plot summary

Grogu uses the Force.

The foundling Grogu comes to inside the gunship Razor Crest. He surveys the area and nudges his protector, the Mandalorian Din Djarin. Noticing that Djarin is asleep, he quietly moves to the back of the Razor Crest and employs the Force to open the rear door. Upon stepping outside, he is captivated by the falling snow, and he joyfully plays in it, trying to catch a snowflake, which he manages to do. He then uses the Force to gather some snow, forming it into a sizable snowball. However, he accidentally drops the snowball on top of himself, leaving only his ears visible above the snow.

At this moment, Djarin wakes up inside the Razor Crest and is alarmed to discover that Grogu is missing from the gunship. He looks around and notices that the back door is ajar. He rushes outside and pulls Grogu out of the snow, who responds with a happy smile. Djarin hands a small snowball to Grogu and carries him back into the Razor Crest. Unbeknownst to Djarin, Grogu uses the Force to bring the large snowball he had previously made back inside the ship. The two then depart.
