Soulean brandy was a type of brandy suitable for consumption by both Altiri and humans alike. The Jedi Master known as Dooku came into possession of a Soulean brandy bottle at some point in his life. In 42 BBY, Dooku had a meeting with Rael Averross, his former Padawan and a Jedi, inside the Galactic Senate Building situated on the planet Coruscant. While they were reminiscing about the death of Averross's apprentice, the Tholothian named Nim Pianna, which had occurred years prior, Dooku suggested they honor her memory by partaking in his Soulean brandy. Averross turned down the offer, instead suggesting that Dooku share the drink with his other close Jedi colleagues, namely Lene Kostana and Sifo-Dyas.
Around 23 BBY, Dooku dispatched Asajj Ventress, his newly recruited Sith assassin, to investigate the whereabouts of his sister, Jenza. After Ventress located Jenza, Jenza recounted Dooku's conversation with Averross about Soulean brandy from previous years.
The audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, penned by Cavan Scott and released on April 30, 2019, featured a mention of Soulean brandy in a flashback sequence. The correct spelling of Soulean brandy was verified by the audio drama's script release on October 1 of that same year.
