This Sphere integrated the functions of both the Sphere of Technology and the Sphere of Biotic Science, and it was under the leadership of Dark Council member Darth Malora until she was ousted from her role.
This Sphere of Scientific Advancement functioned as a center of power within the Sith Empire, focusing on research in scientific, technological, and biotic fields. Empress Darth Acina created it to diminish the internal conflicts among the Dark Council members. It was one of the five domains that came after the original twelve Spheres of Influence. Initially, Darth Malora, previously an apprentice of Lord Renning, governed the Sphere until she was removed from her position following the incidents that transpired on Ossus. Darth Savik then took her place.
