Star Wars: Tales of the Empire is an animated anthology series comprising six episodes. As the second installment in the Tales anthology series, it comes after the inaugural season, which was Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. The series places its emphasis on Barriss Offee and Morgan Elsbeth during the time known as the Imperial Era. Initially revealed at Celebration Europe 2023 as merely the second season for Tales of the Jedi, its official title was declared as Tales of the Empire alongside a trailer launch on April 4, 2024, with its premiere set for May 4.
