Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy – A Graphic Novel

A 208-page hardcover graphic novel titled Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy – A Graphic Novel presents an adaptation of the Star Wars prequel trilogy narrative. On April 4, 2017, Disney–Lucasfilm Press released it. It acts as a companion piece to the previously published Star Wars: The Original Trilogy – A Graphic Novel. IDW Publishing planned to re-issue the graphic novel in individual volumes based on each film of the prequel trilogy. Before losing the license to publish Star Wars materials, IDW released Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Graphic Novel Adaptation and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Graphic Novel Adaptation, resulting in the cancellation of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Graphic Novel Adaptation. Dark Horse Comics then republished The Prequel Trilogy – A Graphic Novel on November 12, 2024.

Publisher's summary

Experience the prequel trilogy—The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith—in a completely new way! This graphic novel collection brings together Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmé Amidala, Yoda, Darth Maul, and other characters, both heroes and villains, from the Star Wars universe, to retell the ultimate story of the battle between good and evil!

Continuity

In Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy – A Graphic Novel, Stass Allie is incorrectly shown delivering the line, "A partial message was intercepted in a diplomatic packet from the chairman of Utapau." However, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith portrays Anakin Skywalker as the one who speaks that line.
