Star Wars 47: Droid World represents the forty-seventh installment within the Marvel Star Wars comic book collection.
On the planet Xeron, the Rebel Alliance have seized a malfunctioning, recently developed Imperial warbot. To facilitate its repair for Alliance analysis, they opt to seek assistance from the droid-inhabited space station referred to as Kligson's Moon. Kligson consents to mend the droid; however, R2-D2 and C-3PO are required to oversee the repair process, as Kligson intends to retain the droid post-repair. Conversely, a different droid residing on Kligson's moon harbors alternative intentions. The ex-Imperial Z-X3 experimental droid trooper, known as Zee-Exthree, schemes to utilize components from the warbot to mend his personal war droid and instigate an uprising against Kligson. Nevertheless, Kligson foresaw this scheme and deployed a decoy to draw Zee-Exthree and his adherents into the open, at which point he would unleash his own warbot against them. Following the conclusion of the conflict, R2-D2 and C-3PO document the warbot's schematics and return to the Rebels. Concurrently, Kligson relocates his station from its present orbit to a more concealed location, rendering it undetectable by the Empire.
