Star Wars Weekly 99: Ambushed by the Empire! represents the ninety-ninth installment of the Marvel UK Star Wars comic book series.
Contained within this edition is Empire Kills!, the third black and white segment of the narrative The Day after the Death Star!, later reproduced with color enhancements in Marvel Illustrated Books' Star Wars. It was only with the release of the Star Wars Omnibus collection by Dark Horse Comics that the comic's original monochrome presentation was showcased.
