The Starbreeze, a Mu-type shuttle designated for personal use, belonged to Colonel Laren Omas of the Republic Army's Special Forces Division throughout the duration of the Great Galactic War.
During the Battle of Hoth in 3665 BBY, Omas and his vessel, the Starbreeze, were downed on the planet Hoth. After loading it with valuables as a nest egg, Admiral Layek Davos found the shuttle and concealed himself within the Star of Coruscant's shuttle bay. He went back to Hoth in 3642 BBY and formed an alliance with White Maw pirates with the intention of recovering the shuttle. Simultaneously, Ardun Kothe tasked Cipher Nine with the shuttle's retrieval, a mission Cipher successfully completed, outpacing both the pirates and the Admiral. Kothe required the ship to eventually gain entry to the Shadow Arsenal.
