Steve Behling

Steve Behling, an American author, came into this world on October 7, 1968. Within the Star Wars universe, Behling contributed as the writer of a pair of short stories featured in the Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection anthology. Biography

Born on October 7, 1968, Steve Behling is an American author with a lifelong passion for Star Wars. Behling's initial foray into the Star Wars galaxy involved writing two illustrated tales for the 2018 anthology, Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection. These stories were adaptations of previously published material from Marvel Comics series. His first story, "Darth Maul and the Rathtars," presents the events of the first issue of the comic book miniseries Star Wars: Darth Maul, originally penned by Cullen Bunn and launched on February 1, 2017. Behling's second short story, "Lando's Big Score," reimagines the narrative of the first and second issues of the comic book miniseries Star Wars: Lando. These issues were written by Charles Soule and released on July 5 and August 12 of 2015, respectively. Within The Mandalorian publishing program, Behling authored The Mandalorian Sticker Art Puzzles, a children's story and activity book from 2021 that adapts plot points from the 2019 first season and 2020 second season of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Behling crafted concise, one-page summaries for each episode of the show, enriching the text with concept art and quotations. Furthermore, he authored the digital comic Star Wars: My First Comic Reader 1 for all ages, featuring illustrations by Riccardo Torti, which debuted on December 21, 2022, through the OverDrive library service.
