The ArMek manufactured a ion cannon known as the SW-5 ion cannon. Quarrie employed this weapon in his Prototype B6 starfighter, with one cannon affixed to each of the two S-foils and another beneath the cockpit. These cannons formed a component of the composite-beam laser weapon system. Furthermore, certain Koensayr BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bombers were equipped with the SW-5 as a twin turret positioned behind the cockpit. However, it should be noted that some BTL-A4 models were fitted with SW-4 ion cannons in place of the SW-5.
