Syphacc

Syphacc was a male human who managed Syphacc's Bountiful Bounties, an organization which provided bounty hunters with bounties. When the notorious former hunter Nakano Lash showed up again, Syphacc tried to get in touch with the cyborg hunter Beilert Valance. However, he was compelled to let Ooris Bynar take on the assignment after Valance declined, despite the well-known tendency of the Thisspiasian to cause excessive collateral destruction. After Bynar left, Syphacc made contact with Boba Fett, who accepted the job without asking for credits as payment.

Biography

Syphacc is threatened by Ooris Bynar.

During the time known as the Imperial Era, Syphacc oversaw operations at Syphacc's Bountiful Bounties, where he gave out bounties to bounty hunters who were willing to accept them. In the year 3 ABY, he began his attempts to contact the cyborg hunter Beilert Valance following the reappearance of the infamous Nakano Lash, who had a substantial bounty placed on her head. While Syphacc was trying to get ahold of Valance, the bounty hunter Ooris Bynar, who was with him, proposed taking the job for half the usual pay. Syphacc turned down the Thisspiasian's proposition, pointing to the hunter's history of causing significant damage and, consequently, incurring high costs.

When Syphacc finally managed to speak with Valance, he began to explain that he had a "big job" for the cyborg, but Valance interrupted him, expressing his lack of interest and ending the communication. Subsequently, Bynar started strangling Syphacc, demanding that he be allowed to take the assignment. After Syphacc agreed and was released, he decided to reach out to another bounty hunter, Boba Fett. Via a hologram, Syphacc informed Fett about Lash's return and offered him the bounty. Fett, who had previously worked alongside Lash, accepted the offer and instructed Syphacc to retain the credits intended for the job.

Personality and traits

Syphacc was a male human characterized by light skin. Initially, he declined Bynar's offer to accept the job because of the hunter's reputation for causing collateral damage, which resulted in substantial expenses for Syphacc. However, he eventually conceded and allowed the Thisspiasian to take the assignment after being strangled by the hunter's tail.

Equipment

Syphacc wore brown garments, including a pouch positioned near his left hip and a long cape draped around his back. He also had a cybernetic implant situated around his head.

Behind the scenes

Syphacc made his debut in the first issue of Star Wars: Bounty Hunters, a comic book series penned by Ethan Sacks, with illustrations by Paolo Villanelli, and published under the Marvel Comics banner on March 11, 2020.
