T-6 1974, alternatively referenced as T-6 One-Nine-Seven-Four, was a T-6 shuttle utilized by Ahsoka Tano following the conclusion of the Galactic Civil War. She journeyed to the planet of Lothal aboard it to collect Sabine Wren and initiate their search for Ezra Bridger.
The Verpine hives of Slayn & Korpil engineered this agile starship, which possessed a rotating engine block along with a rotating cockpit. This design gave the shuttle the capability to land on diverse planetary surfaces with considerable ease. Although a lone pilot was sufficient to control the shuttle, Tano was accompanied by the droid Huyang, who served as both navigator and copilot. Huyang converted a section of the T-6's spacious interior into his personal workshop. Within, he stored his collection of lightsaber parts, which he had accumulated over decades of teaching and overseeing lightsaber construction. Tano also dedicated a portion of the shuttle to lightsaber training, equipping it with practice Bokken sabers and protective helmets.
During the Clone Wars, the presence of T-6 shuttles indicated that assistance was imminent. Years later, the T-6's easily recognizable form continued to represent hope. Some time after the Battle of Jakku, and after reuniting with lightsaber expert Huyang, Tano employed this vessel to travel to Lothal in order to retrieve Sabine Wren and commence their search for Ezra Bridger. Huyang and Tano piloted the shuttle into the opening of a Purrgil's mouth. Once situated inside the creature's mouth, the Purrgil initiated a jump to hyperspace, following an age-old path from one galaxy to another, ultimately arriving at the planet Peridea. The T-6 shuttle participated in multiple engagements on Peridea, demonstrating the same resilience that had proven valuable during the Clone Wars.
